After obtaining a degree in Economics in Milan, Barbara spent fifteen years in sales and marketing roles, initially working for companies in the financial sector, including Merrill Lynch, and then in the design sector. She has lived in Italy and also New York and London. In 2006 – 2008 Barbara spent some time working for non-profit organisations, specialising in cross-cultural coaching with teams in Bosnia, Sri Lanka and Indonesia, focusing on building better communication channels between international teams. Since 2009 Barbara has worked as an Executive Coach for multinational companies in Italy and abroad (NHS, the British Health Service, Cherie Blair Foundation for Women) and as a Life Coach for individuals. She also continues her work in training and development for multi-national companies with a focus on change management.

Barbara was awarded the PCC certification with ICF in 2013 and continues the development of her skills by practicing in psychology, after her degree in 2018.

Cathleen Behrends

Prior to establishing her own company as Alternative Practitioner in Psychotherapy, Coach and Organizational Consultant, Cathleen worked as a Senior Banker in various leadership positions in Hamburg,

Riga and Istanbul at one of the largest European banking groups. During her 17 years of banking experience, she worked in a wide range of areas, at the latest as Chief Operating Officer including the responsibility for Human Resources Management and Communications.

Cathleen works in partnership with the European School of Management & Technology in Berlin and JS-International among others. Typical clients are large multinational companies and their senior executives in several European countries. Since working with JS-International, Cathleen has worked as a coach as part of a development programme for Vodafone and Medtronic.

Henriëtte van den Heuvel Ph.D.

Henriëtte started her career as a General Manager in a family owned business in Oil & Gas extraction. After a number of years she started her study in Organizational Psychology and obtained a Ph.D. Her

dissertation deals with the (crucial) role of management in Performance Management and pay for performance. During the later part of her study she undertook a consultancy role in one of the main Dutch Management Consultancy firms, where she stayed for just under a decade, focusing on the fields of Performance Management and leadership development.

After this she started working for Hay group, one of the largest international Management Consultancy firms in the world. She stayed with the firm for 10 years in various roles, senior consultant, managing consultant and business developer. In between, she left the company for a short time to work as a Manager of Management Development for a large international utility company, being responsible for the recruitment and development of the top 250.

In 2010 she started working together with JS-International as a trainer and coach. In recent years her work has gradually moved from development and implementation of HR instruments to training and (team- and individual) coaching executives in large international companies such as ING, DSM, Philips, Akzo, Cargill, Vodafone, SHV and Vopak.

Jane Upton

Jane Upton is an experienced coach who has over 20 years experience working with senior leaders and their teams. From her base in Spain she works with clients internationally. Her work spans a host of sectors including

fmcg, media, professional services and engineering. She coaches in English and Spanish. Jane has also worked as a tutor on coaching courses at Henley Business School, Instituto de Empresa (Madrid) and Universidad de Francisco de Vitoria (Madrid) where she trains both professional coaches and coaching for leaders.

Jeremy Lazarus

Jeremy is an Accredited Master Executive Coach (Association for Coaching), Professional Certified Coach (International Coaching Federation), ILM Approved Coach Trainer and a Certified NLP Master Trainer (ANLP International CIC).

Prior to becoming a business coach and trainer in 1999, he had 18 years’ experience as a senior finance professional and management consultant (he is a qualified accountant and qualified corporate treasurer). Jeremy’s clients include blue chips, SMEs, several NHS Trusts and organisations, charities and elite athletes. He is a guest lecturer at UK universities, and has written four best-selling books. As well as having several coaching qualifications (including an MA), Jeremy also assesses coaching applications on behalf of The Association for Coaching.

His previous positions between 1982 and 1999 include roles in The City, management consultant for Ernst & Young, senior finance roles for Unigate plc and finance director for YO! Sushi.

Robert Kahn is owner and Managing Director of his own company which is a coaching and training business based in Geneva, Switzerland. He has been partnering with JS International since 2005.

Robert is a communications and training professional working primarily in presentation for impact and leadership through emotional intelligence.

For the past 22 years, Robert has worked across a variety of industries and countries which include finance, banking, manufacturing, the service industry, and Internet companies. Suzanne Gough

Suzanne Gough is an executive coach and organisational psychologist based in Dubai, UAE. She certified as a coach with the International Coach Academy and has been coaching leaders at a range of levels for the
