About JS-International

JS-International is an international business focussing on the development of international leaders and leadership teams. We work in partnership with leaders to help them achieve their desired personal and professional transformations. Our belief is that development and change is about going to the edge, exploring and breaking through boundaries, helping people and businesses to achieve what they might have thought previously was impossible.

We facilitate real team experiences and conduct team coaching to use as vehicles to explore leadership and teamworking and we conduct Executive Coaching.

We look at organisational leadership which means developing leadership teams at all levels within an organisation to enable leadership across boundaries – functional, organisational or sector. The lens is a dual focussed leadership approach that works towards what it best for teams and what is best for the organisation as a whole, simultaneously. It is also about encouraging a systemic mindset that delivers organisational passion and loyalty.

We deliver customised programmes in-house for leaders and we also deliver public programmes in Malta focusing on personal and professional development through our NLP and Neuroscience course (accredited by the American Board of NLP) and our Coaching Course (accredited by the International Coaching Federation).

Jointly owned by Sally Jackson and Jan Versteeg, JS-International is also supported by a range of world-class coaches. We carefully select these experts in their field to deliver customised solutions for our in-company work. This means we put together “Virtuoso teams” specifically for the event for each client, ensuring world-class quality and the latest thinking.

JS-International has developed a proprietary 360 degree feedback tool based on years of working with thousands of leadership teams over the past 20 years. This tool is based on our leadership philosophy that is called CORE© leadership. Core stands for Collaborate, Ownership, Respect and Engagement.

Sally Jackson

Director JS-International

Sally Jackson is co-owner and Managing Director of JS-International, a coaching and training business based in Malta. She is also one of the founding directors of a certified coaching and development programme for leaders, called

“Personal Mastery in Coaching and Mentoring”, which is certified by the International Coach Federation.

Within industry she worked for 15 years mainly for multinational businesses, including Thomson-Reuters, in a range of HR and line management positions. She has lived in the UK, New York, Sweden, Spain and The Netherlands and now Malta. Her early career was as a line manager with a well known large retail business, Marks and Spencer. Since 2004 she has led her own business, together with her partner in leadership development and coaching. She has worked with clients such as Adidas, Shell, Vodafone, Panasonic, Mars, NetJets, Burberry, Medtronics, Idexx, Vaillant, K3 and Henley Management School.

Jan Versteeg

Director JS-International

Jan Versteeg is co-owner and Director of JS-International. Jan studied Hotel Management and then Economics in the Netherlands, after which he worked in the Catering Sector for 10 years. During this time he worked internationally (Germany and France) for companies

such as Restoplan (Regional Director, responsible for 250 employees) and Le General de Restaration (focusing on product development). Jan taught at Hotel Management school for 2 years and then started up his own business, managing and owning a catering business, restaurant and an hotel, being responsible for 200 employees, teambuilding activities and sales training for clients.

Since 2004 he has been a Director of JS-International, an international training and coaching business based in Malta, and has worked with such clients as Telefonica, Adidas, Vodafone, Shell, Panasonic, NetJets, Mars, Skype, Burberry, Idex, Medtronic, K3, Vaillant and Henley Management School. He is also one of the founding directors of a certified coaching and development programme for leaders “Personal Mastery in Coaching and Mentoring”, certified by the International Coach Federation
