Why should you invest in this programme?

Work today involves relating to other people and achieving success with or through them. Many of us assume that others will react to situations as we would ourselves. Others consider our behaviour toward each other to be the "strangest, most unpredictable and almost entirely unaccountable of all the phenomena with which we are obliged to live," (Lewis Thomas, Scientist). But is human behaviour so haphazard and unpredictable?

We believe that people who try to work with others without first investing in themselves to achieve self-awareness and self-mastery will not be as successful as those that do. The payback for self investment is an understanding of who you really are, your capabilities and how to access these capabilities when you need them. In addition you gain insights into who other people are in your life and what you can about the way in which you interact with them. So human behaviour becomes understandable.

What is the core content?

This programme is customised to meet participants' needs. We have a core programme that we adapt in line with an organisation´s needs and by telephoning all participants in advance (see more about our pre-programme process in the next section).

The core content for part one is:

Past:

• Eradicating limiting beliefs that are preventing you from achieving optimal performance
• Learning from the past and gaining clarity about who you are at many levels
• Learning how to look at life from different perspectives and re-framing the past to consider what you have achieved and how you have achieved it

Present:

• Well formed outcomes - gaining clarity about what you want to achieve
• Managing your state
• Building excellent relationships quickly
• Modeling techniques that look at identifying reproducible patterns of behaviour
• Learning from models of excellence
• JS- International's Inner leadership model™(compassion, courage and capabilities)
• Diagnostic tools that look at your preferred ways of operating and how you can change this to enhance your performance - gaining insights into your capabilities

How can we deliver this Programme?

Your first contact will be with a JS-International top coach by telephone, this is a real opportunity to:

• learn about the content of the programme
• determine and clarify your needs
• talk through with you some pre-work (see below)
• answer any concerns you have

Our aim is to tailor our programme to meet all the participants' needs. As such we will be asking you to bring your issues to the programme so that we can operate with "real plays" rather than "role plays".

The pre-work involves

• Putting together a collage or personal life story that somehow encapsulates your thoughts about your life in the past, present and future
• Completion of the JS-International Life Laundry process™. This is a comprehensive process for you to follow to sort out outstanding issues in your life that may prevent you from learning in an optimal way
• You reflecting on situations in life that you find difficult, writing about them and bringing these reflections to the programme

During the programme you will benefit from a personal coaching session from one of lead coaches. The benefit to you is that you will ensure that your needs from the programme are met.

We use accelerated learning techniques and JS-International's 5 step learning process™, which means that you learn in a fun, interactive and effective way. The benefit to you is that your learning is sustained and therefore you get the maximum return on your investment.
